Finding ways to live more sustainability is crucial if we want to fight the effects of climate change and protect the environment for the future. One of the most important things we can do is reduce our reliance on cars to help reduce the amount of carbon emissions.
An effective and reliable public transport network is important if we want people to use their cars less. One interesting transport solution that has been put forward is Bus Rapid Transit, or BRT.
BRT is a bus-based mass transit solution that provides an alternative to the car at much less cost than light or heavy rail for Australian communities and the travelling public. It’s interesting food for thought – and you can watch an information video here:
